Terms of Use

Last updated: 2 November 2026

In short: Wallfinch is free to use, with 10 full-resolution downloads per month. A one-time purchase, Unlimited, removes the limit. The images belong to their authors, not to me. If you're not happy with your purchase, you get your money back within 14 days.

1. Who I am

Wallfinch is developed by Matteo Cioffi, an individual developer based in Italy. Contact: support@wallfinch.com. By installing or using Wallfinch you accept these terms.

2. Licence

Wallfinch is protected by copyright and is licensed, not sold. I grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on your own devices. You may not:

Wallfinch includes open-source components under their own licences, listed in the app.

3. Free version and Unlimited

4. Images and third-party websites

Wallfinch is a tool that finds images published on third-party websites. I don't own, host or license these images: they belong to their authors and rights holders. The app shows where each image comes from and links to it.

Downloading an image with Wallfinch gives you no rights to it. You are responsible for respecting the rights and licence of the images you download. Any use beyond your own wallpaper, such as publishing, selling or printing an image, needs the permission of the rights holder.

Third-party websites can change, block access or disappear at any time, and I may turn off a source or hide an image, for example at the request of a website or a rights holder. Your purchase does not include access to any particular source or image.

5. Purchases and refunds

6. No warranty

Wallfinch is provided "as is". I do my best to keep it working, but I can't guarantee that it is free of errors or that every source is always available. To the extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect damages or loss of data, and my total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Wallfinch. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

7. Changes

I may update these terms; the date at the top shows the current version. If a change matters to you, I will announce it in the app or on this website. Your licence ends if you break these terms.

8. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the mandatory laws of the country where you live, including the right to go to the courts there.
